Announcing a new venture and a new EPP Pattern release!
I have been very fortunate during my Twitch live streaming adventures to meet sew many wonderful creative streamers from all over the world.
One such streamer is Toni Smith a.k.a. Quiltoni.
Toni is a professional video game and comic book quilter. She has designed her own line of pixelated quilt patterns based on the characters from all your favourite video games and comics. She has also written a book on the subject and has designed a range of templates with Martelli to make the process of pixel quilting a breeze!
Anyhoo, Quiltoni approached me last year about working with her to bring a range of comic book and video game inspired EPP (English paper piecing) patterns to the market.
I'm thrilled to say that I jumped at the opportunity to work with her and am proud to say that our first collaborative pattern is now available to buy direct from quiltoni.com and your favourite local quilt store.
Presenting....... Monster Ball!
I loved writing the instructions for this pattern and making my own samples. It is a quick and easy make - perfect for beginners and I have to say my video game mad boys loved it!
In fact, they love it so much, that they have requested I make at least another 8 variations and turn them into a snuggle quilt! Watch this space for more on that...
Monster Ball is the perfect project for newcomers to English Paper Piecing.
The pattern gives you step-by-step directions that leaves you with a beautiful, easy to sew block, wall hanging, or table centrepiece that looks amazing. From beginner to experienced sewers, you will enjoy creating this geeky home accent.
Perfect for showing off your love of gaming.
The Pokemon-inspired quilt pattern only requires that you know how to use a needle and thread to make a whip stitch.
